WOMAN MAKES HER FATHER’S DREAM COME TRUE. A Bay Area bride moved her wedding day up five months so her father could walk her down the aisle.

Vieneese Stanton surprised her stepfather Preston Rolan, who has raised her since she was 3 years old, with a wedding last month at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco.

Mr. Rolan, 64, had been failing health since he was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year. Vieneese Stanton told The KBLX Morning Dream Team she wanted her father to be part of a special ceremony. Vieneese and her fiance made the choice and decided to push up the wedding. With the helpful hospital staff, they were able to make dreams come true and Preston walked Vieneese down the aisle. Mr. Preston Roland passed away the morning of December 4th at UCSF Hospital in San Francisco.
